It is essential from the start of the season and required during any meeting or official examination, both for practitioners and for managers. Its price is fixed at 250 DA. Your request should be addressed to the FAT. In the event of loss of the license, the duplicate will be established at the price of the license. No license certificate will be issued. The license is only valid on an up-to-date federal sports passport. Article 9 of the statutes of the federation states: “Affiliated sports associations must, upon joining, obtain a federal license for all their members. Failure to comply with this obligation by an affiliated association may result in a sanction pronounced under the conditions provided for in the disciplinary regulations. ”

The provisions of the Sports Code relating to the medical certificate have been modified by law n ° 2016-41 of January 26, 2016 on the modernization of our health system as well as by decree n ° 2016-1157 of August 24, 2016 relating to the medical certificate attesting to the absence of contraindication to the practice of sport. Obtaining a sports license is subject to the presentation of a medical certificate. This medical certificate establishes the absence of contraindication to the practice of a discipline or a set of related disciplines, it specifies whether the discipline is practiced in competition or in leisure. Taekwondo is one of the disciplines with particular constraints: "The disciplines practiced in competition for which the fight can end by KO". Consequently, for the practice of Taekwondo in combat and in competition it is therefore compulsory to provide a medical certificate EVERY year.
